How to get more work
Job leads are not always that easy to find, particularly if your business is not that well
established yet, or during challenging economic times. But, if you are looking for extra leads to
fill in gaps in your schedule or expand your business with more work, you've come to the right
place. Word of mouth recommendation is obviously the long established and recommended method we've
all heard about, but it can be difficult to find every possible opportunity or to be first to be
recommended every time by friends and family, especially when you're just starting out.
When you're just getting started the best course of action is to start off with the smaller jobs and
do a great job so that you can build up some good feedback from several customers and begin to build
a positive reputation. Always be polite, communicate well with customers, do an excellent job, clean
up after yourself, be on time and reliable will go a long way. You don't have to always be the
cheapest either since cheap does not necessarily mean best, and it may not even mean good. A quality
customer will expect to pay a reasonable rate for quality workmanship, carried out by a professional
in an efficient manner. Once you have got a few jobs under your belt and the great reviews the work
deserves, you'll soon find you begin to build some good customer relationships and build a sold
foundation for your business.
To get that base of customers, or even build upon an existing customer base, Top Tradespeople could
well be the solution for you!
